Cheeky Monkeys

Cheeky Monkeys is a brand-new corporate childcare centre situated in the
impressive Atrium at 9 Castlereagh Street. It has been created around a
‘jungle theme’ complete with life-sized animals which are perfectly suited to the
vast high ceilings afforded by the Atrium roof.

Centre Design:
Due to the high ceilings and vast Atrium roof the centre is bright and spacious. Each age group has its own play area, including a range of exciting and age-appropriate toys and equipment to ensure that the children’s learning experiences are both fun and educational. The centre incorporates two separate sleep rooms, for the younger children which enables them to maintain their individual routines and has a variety of active play spaces. The high atrium ceiling gives the impression of outdoor play-space with lots of natural light with the benefit of being fully enclosed ensuring the children can be active whatever the weather!

Hours of Operation:
The centre opens at 7.30am for parents to enjoy breakfast with their children and care operates from 8.00am until 6.00pm each day. The centre is closed for public holidays and for a period over the Christmas break.

Cheeky Monkeys is part of Jigsaw Corporate Childcare, Australia. Like each of our centres it displays its own characteristics and ambience, reflecting the needs and aspirations of the children and families who attend it.

  • Everything for your child’s daily needs, including nutritious meals and snacks throughout the day, sunscreen, formula and nappies as part of the service.

Cheeky Monkeys is a brand-new childcare centre which has recently opened and will provide care for the children of Commowealth Bank of Australia employees with limited spaces available for community families.
On 8 June 2006, the Commonwealth Bank announced a range of initiatives for their staff aimed at helping them better balance work, life and care responsibilities. The enhancements to the wellbeing program for Bank staff complemented existing family friendly arrangements and flexible work practices.
CEO Ralph Norris describes these benefits as some of the most significant to support Bank staff in the past decade. The Commonwealth Bank has entered into an arrangement with Jigsaw Corporate Childcare for the provision of high quality long day care services in the Sydney CBD. This will allow the Bank to offer priority of access for long day care places for children aged 0 - 5 years old.
"The Commonwealth Bank is dedicated to helping all our staff realise their full potential. Part of that involves giving them a sense of wellbeing and supporting them in caring for their children," Mr Norris said.

Hi I’m Charlie and my teachers say that I’m a cheeky monkey! I think it is because I’m always giggling – life is just too much fun and there is just so much to do. I’m off to the playground now to run, jump, climb and play lots of exciting games with all my friends. Do you like playing in the playground?
