![]() Stepping Stones is a well-established corporate childcare centre specifically designed to meet the needs of the children and families who attend it. It is based around a ‘countryside’ theme complete with farmyard mural to introduce the younger children to all the favourite farmyard animals. The centre is conveniently located in the modern, stand-alone Plaza building behind the main courtyard of Lumley House, ensuring safety and security for all the children who attend it.
Centre Design:
The centre is bright and spacious with lots of natural light. Each age group has its own play area, including a range of exciting and age-appropriate toys and equipment to ensure that the children’s learning experiences are both fun and educational.
It has a variety of active play spaces, which are both indoor and outdoor, enabling the children to develop their gross motor skills, whatever the weather. It also incorporates a separate sleep room for the younger children, enabling them to maintain their individual routines.
Hours of Operation:
The centre opens at 7.30am for parents to enjoy breakfast with their children and care operates from 8.00am until 6.00pm each day. The centre is closed for public holidays and for a period over the Christmas break.
